Psicoeducación y primeros auxilios psicológicos

En esta investigación documental sobre autores norteamericanos, se revisan los planteamientos más significativos que manejan sobre la relación entre la psicoeducación y los primeros auxilios psicológicos. Se puntualizan algunas directrices para la aplicación de los primeros auxilios psicológicos, y las estrategias de apoyo emocional, comunicación efectiva y promoción de la resiliencia que forman parte de las intervenciones en crisis. Se concluye que la combinación de la psicoeducación y los primeros auxilios psicológicos contribuyen a un enfoque integral y comprensivo para brindar apoyo a las personas en situaciones de crisis y trauma, ya que fortalecen la atención y promueven la salud mental y emocional, destacándose la importancia de integrar ambos aspectos en los programas y servicios de atención psicológica.
